Is windsurf harder than kitesurf?
Windsurf is generally easier to start but harder to master. Both can be learned in a few days with the right instructor.
What gear do you have?
Beginner wide boards (150-200 L), intermediate freeride boards (110-140 L) and advanced slalom/wave setups. All rigs are recent model years.
When is the wind season?
November through June is peak wind in the Mexican Caribbean. Outside that, conditions are still rideable but less consistent.
Can beginners really learn in one session?
A 2-hour intro lesson is enough to tack, jibe and go upwind on a beginner board. Full independence takes 2-3 days of lessons.
